At DMZ, we embrace the philosophy of abundance and renewal, as opposed to scarcity and deprivation. Sure, some of these resources are overpowered as heck, but we like to encourage our talented players to build epic survival builds. You can still go out there and survive without all the fancy perks, but if you find yourself yearning to do something BIG, well, that’s where DMZ really shines. This is a list of things other than the brilliant shops at spawn, some mod-built, some player-built, some mod-built but still survival mode … and if you’ve created something awesome you wish to share with the community, please let us know and we’ll add it to the warp hub (and this page)!

Go to /spawn and head downstairs for the Warp Hub. From left to right, these warps take you to (1) World Warps, (2), Biome Warps, (3) Towns, and (4) Tools/Resources (including grinders).

Find this fountain at Spawn, stand in it and dump your excess nonsense that you don’t want and can’t sell — you’ll get loads of XP!

Alphabet Island is a free resource featuring decorative player heads that can be used to make signs like you see in the picture above. You’ll find the complete A-Z plus basic punctuation in wood and stone block textures, and another set in bright assorted colors. There are also plain color heads for all your sign-making needs.

If you have excess materials you don’t need, you can help out other players by donating them here. Just throw all your miscellaneous items (NO RE-NAMED ITEMS PLEASE) into the chest and watch the brilliant sorting system go to work, sending your donation to the appropriate chests. Please stick around until the sorter is finished, it only runs when a player is present.

And of course, if you find yourself in need of materials, tools, armor, or food, you are welcome to whatever we have! Please only take what you need.

This is a VERY fast XP grinder, maybe even a little too overpowered. Enchant all the things!

This HUGE village is full of willing villagers to trade with. While you’re there, why not breed a few animals and harvest a few crops? The generous fenced-in area is free of hostile mobs, and it’s located just off the shore of a lovely flower forest beach. The area is well-lit at night and is also a great spot for fishing!

It’s big, yo:

It’s not fast, but it stays pretty well-stocked with Prismarine Crystals and Shards, and tons of fish. While digging it out, a slime chunk was discovered right next to it, so the smaller structure you see in front is the top floor of a 5-level slime-spawning area. There’s a safe AFK spot, or if you prefer to hang out while you grind guardians, there’s a small fishing pond with a comfy hammock and a fancy, OP fishing rod that has mending and never even seems to take damage (please don’t forget to put it back in the chest!).

Working on a resource pack and want a full screenshot of all your work? Just want to see what all the things look like? We started with a woefully incomplete, disorganized screenshot from a resource pack and made it bigger and better. Just off to the left you’ll find a display of all the paintings, and in the works is a zoo so you can get an up-close look at all the mob skins. Not quite yet updated for 1.12 but getting there!

The public mine layout is based on the most efficient method for exposing all the ore blocks between levels 6 and ~12, a tried and true method that will make you rich with diamonds and other shiny things. Here are the instructions/rules:

The stable has every possible variety of Minecraft horse on display. Purchase a voucher from the dude at the counter, find the horsie of your dreams, click the button with the voucher in your hand and you’ll receive a custom horse egg to take home!

East Empire and IceStorm … and yours could be next!
